WATERMELON:
One of the coolest fruits with 90% of water content makes watermelon rank the most favourite fruit in the summers ( though mango has its own place)But surprisingly the 10% of Minerals and other vital substances in watermelon has also provide for it to be a heart healthy food.

Watermelons are high in vitamin C though they are not really sour(thus adding them to the family of melons) which is known after research to prevent hardening of the arteries and increases elasticity of blood vessels. This helps in preventing high blood pressure and heart disease. 
Again watermelons contain a less known chemical namely CITRULLINE. This chemical gets onverted to Arginine after reaching the kidneys.
Arginine is an amino acid that works for heart health and helps in maintaining a good immune system. The more this conversion takes place, the less fat is apt to accumulate in the cells, helping to keep obesity and type 2 diabetes from becoming issues.Arginine also removes ammonia and other toxicities from your body.
